Peter Marigold’s asymmetrical, hand crafted shelving units have been selected for the assembly line of British furniture manufacturer SCP. The Split Boxes came out of the idea that splitting a branch any four ways would still create a 360º whole – an idea that works just as well in mass production. Now called SUM, the set includes three cherrywood units – one small, one medium and one large.

bags with weapons Suitcases That Make A Statement

If you ever want to get on airplane, you should probably not carry around these suitcases.

An artist in France has created a line of boxy luggage that uses toy weapons for decoration. It appears that the ‘weapons’ are cut sideways, stuck on the bag’s side, and then painted over to appear as if they’re jutting out from the case itself.

kiton shop at saks The Return of the Power SuitAmongst the so called recession, one area seems to be booming which is testament to the times. The House of Kiton based out of Naples, Italy, best known for its bespoke style of tailoring of custom suits are setting up shop in Sak’s Fifth Ave. of New York. The fashion house limits itself to under 20,000 pieces with an aresenal of 250 master tailors each spending close 45 hours on each suit. With that much man power behind these garments, the price can get steep real fast. With suits starting 7,000 USD and ranging all the way up to 15,000 USD its not a purchase but rather an investment. Head over to http://www.kiton/kiti/indexg.htm for a better look. Ciao.
